Working in the health service for over twenty years has inspired me to become a service provider that will enrich the lives of people. My comprehensive nursing knowledge, experience and expertise within the care field has helped me to make my decision to become a Care Services provider. I have extensive community experience supporting elderly, palliative patients and their families and supporting care homes in delivering good care. This experience has given me great expertise in the care plan management of patients and staff management.
Working as a nursing home Manager for the last fourteen years, I have demonstrated that I have all the skills needed, knowledge and experience to provide first class home care.I am motivated and committed to provide a service that will be quality driven, putting people at the heart of business.

Hello my name is Rebecca, everyone calls me Beckie.
I have been part of The Elms team right from the beginning when Helena and Al become the proud owners. I have over 20 years experience in dementia residential and nursing care. I have been given the opportunity to improve my professional development and have worked through NVQs and have obtained a level 5 diploma in health and social care. I am also an in-house trainer for manual handling, dementia awareness and I am a falls champion and really enjoy sharing my knowledge with the rest of our team. I play an actIve role in care planning. My role at The Elms is rewarding and I like to see people having fun and sharing laughter. I Like problem solving and thinking "outside the box". I also enjoy singing, entertaining and cooking

Hello, my name is Bettina but everyone calls me Tina. I have been the Head chef at the Elms for just over a year.
I was trained in a la carte over 12 years ago and have worked in the care industry for 5 years. I am a level 3 and also I was voted head vegan/vegetarian Care chef in the houses of Parliament 2 years ago. I love cooking for the residents I love happy faces and empty plates!

Hi, I am Lorraine, I have been working at The Elms since August 2022, and have 20 years of experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector, alongside a NVQ Level 5 and Safeguarding qualification.
I support the residents with meaningful activities, person centred around their individual needs, abilities, interests and values. Focusing on personal wellbeing, maintaining physical strength and balance through daily active exercise and promoting inclusion within the community, is just a part of my very satisfying job.

Previously I have been in the construction industry for 40 years. I strive in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for the residents and staff. My daily routine consists variety of tasks, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance, all while adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
I enjoy the banter with work colleagues and speaking with the residents and visitors to the home.

Many of our exceptional staff have been at The Elms for a long time and are devoted to the wellbeing of the residents.
They are considerate, accommodating and supportive, not just towards the residents but towards their friends and families as well.
We also have a dedicated dementia care support team who work to ensure that our home receives the most up-to-date information, support and advice on dementia care.
Our dementia team supports not only our staff at The Elms, but also supports our residents and their friends and families.
