Working in the health service for over twenty years has inspired me to become a service provider that will enrich the lives of people. My comprehensive nursing knowledge, experience and expertise within the care field has helped me to make my decision to become a Care Services provider. 

 

In the year 2000, I worked as a health care assistant at a care home in the Forest of Dean, for people with complex needs. I enjoyed working there and admiring the care provided as well as the client’s life choices and the independence offered by staff and management. Since then I completed a degree in nursing and became a registered nurse in general nursing. 

In 2013, I had a great opportunity to start a company that provided community care services for people with care needs. This project has given me a great and wide range of business experience as well as operational and project managing skills. 

 

Working as a nursing home Manager for the last eight years, I have demonstrated that I have all the skills needed, knowledge and experience to provide first class home care. I have knowledge about the business side of care homes but also I have the necessary clinical and care skills and expertise.  

 

This has also made me more motivated to provide a service that will be quality driven, putting people at the heart of business.
